Board Members cruising down the Flint

RiverWay South Board met at Covey Rise Plantation, June 7th  in Camilla GA. Over 40 participants enjoyed the meal of a lifetime at the Plantation with Robin Singletary. Thanks go to Marilyn Royal who arranged everything with a superb team of people from throughout the region including Covey Rise Plantation's  Robin Singletary,  RiverKeeper Gordon Rogers, Woody Hicks from the Jones Ecological Research Center, and Charles Stripling/ UGA Irrigation Park. Gordon Cox narrated boat tours and Billy Turner former President of the Columbus Water Works presented "Ready to Raft 2012"... an introduction to the Columbus Whitewater project. It was a great day. Next Board meeting is August 2nd and details will be posted soon.
